  • Grew up in Colorado on the Western Slope.
  • Received her B.A. in Writing and Literature from George Fox University in Oregon.
  • Experience working as library manager and school librarian.
  • Currently serving as Librarian in charge of Card Services.
  • Passionate about libraries and how they benefit communities by providing books, tech-nology, programming, and education.
  • Second love is track.
  • Ran hurdles through college then coached high school track.
  • Hobbies include food, reading and conversations.
  • Reading interests rotate between science fiction, fantasy, literature, princess books and random non-fiction.

  • Born in San Diego; also lived in LA, Orange, Kern and Madera Counties
  • Graduated with two BA degrees from the University of California Santa Barbara: Cultural Anthropology and General Psychology
  • Tulare Public Library service since 2002. Over nine years as Literacy coordinator; currently adult services librarian, specializing in research and information
  • Retail management experience at eight California locations
  • Tulare Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors’ Committee, chairperson 2004-2007
  • Awarded City of Tulare Employee of the Year 2004
  • Leadership Tulare Graduate, Class of 2008
